About us
The journey to Adyant Health began during the final years of my professional engagement as a professor in English literature. My interests stirred me closer to Indian philosophy, specifically Sankhya darshana. It was after reading one page from that book (humbly published by Gitapress), I could see the future taking a different turn. Coincidently, I came in touch with people practicing acupuncture, and the idea intrigued me beyond reason.
A year later, bidding a humble farewell to the classics of literature, I joined the three-year programme with Acupressure Shodh Evam Parikshan Sansthan, Prayagraj. That engagement earned me a Masters in Acupressure and Healing Sciences, this was just the beginning. Exploration has always been a familiar predicate for me. That introduced me to Auriculotherapy, and to have been taught by great practitioners including Dr. Shrijyoti (who is also my mortal guruji), Mr Vengudupathy and Dr Kedar Ghatnekar.
All that was left was to collimate all these systems and weave them into a profound knowledge system. That opportunity came with a collaboration with Ms Ambika Warrier, a counselling psychologist, who bestowed me with the knowledge of Marma. This proved to be the juncture that brought me closer to the foundation, and that culminated in the journey to the sacred grounds of Ayurveda.
With the divine guidance of my eternal guru Mahavatar Babaji, this is where my efforts transformed into Adyant Health, and also, its vision defined. The venture became a platform to disseminate the collective knowledge of Marma Chikitsa weaved into the diagnostic framework of Ayurveda, it’s natural companion. During the lockdown since 2020, we have helped many with a system that is designed to mend life.
Our regular workshops ensure this knowledge reaches and finds home with anyone who’s keen to learn the art and science of internal healing. Common issues including cervical spondylitis, lumbar or sacral pain, joints stiffness, oedema, headache, migraine, various eye disorders can be treated through regular practice of Marma chikitsa.
Besides, dedicated treatments are undertaken for chronic or acute issues like arthritis, varicose veins, paralysis, navel displacement, digestive disorders, radiculopathy, neuritis.
My sincere thanks for dedicating your precious time, wish you good health!
